A great example of Soave showing bold aromas of stonefruit and citrus, with grilled nuts, marzipan and spice. The palate is mouthfilling with a bold fruit signature and a hint of minerality. It’s full of bright fruit flavours and balanced by fine acidity.
An excellent vintage was had in the Soave region. A cold wet spring provided plent of moisture for the months leading into a hot and dry summer with occasional rain. Acidity remained high and quality was excellent across the board.
Sourced from vineyards in the hills of the classico area north east of Verona. A soft pressing followed by fermentation at a controlled temperature. Fermented in stainless steel with temperature control before maturation on lees for six months to build texture and complexity.
Food Pairing: Barbecued prawns with chilli and garlic.
