Johner Estate Wairarapa Pinot Noir

Information

This is the gateway Pinot Noir produced from fruit grown at selected vineyards in the local Wairarapa region. The wine is matured in two to five year old French oak barrels for 12 months.

Rich in colour, this Pinot Noir has red berry fruit and forest floor notes on the nose. The palate has  savoury notes of porcini, autumnal wood smoke and earthy notes developing as the wine opens up. This Pinot noir will increase in complexity as it matures over the next five years.
