It is named after Harald Fairhair, the King of Norway, who set up the Orkney earldom and was one of the founding pioneers of spreading the Vikings and their heritage around the northern hemisphere and developing their army. His whisky carries a shield motif to reflect this.

Matured in a combination of sherry seasoned American oak and European oak casks, Harald is a complex, yet finely balanced single malt whisky, with an intense flavour brimming with heady ginger, sandalwood, sweet sponge cake and hints of freshly grated nutmeg.
