Tasted in November 2020 the 2016 Nautilus Chardonnay opens with a clean kick of flint before revealing ripe citrus fruit and subtle toasted brioche undertones. Palate is full and textured which is still showing great structure and balanced acidity; stone & citrus fruit notes are holding true, but with the extended time in bottle this fruit is now complimented by a tertiary (savoury) element.
