An intense ruby red color with clean and deep hues of violet. On the nose are aromas of spices and dried figs, harmonized with those of coffee, dark chocolate and vanilla. Also, a soft touch of black pepper. On the palate it is complex, with a fresh acidity, high persistence with soft and round tannins. Carmenere is well known to be Chiles national variety. Originally a Bordeaux varietal now flourishes here. Producing Medium weight wines showing Plummy red fruit flavours and gentle tannins.
